ICANN releases new tld domains, own your beautiful domain now

One of the challenges many online entrepreneurs face is finding a domain name that is short and easy to remember. However, there’s no need to worry—between 2013 and 2015, the global domain name management organization (ICANN) will launch 617 new top-level domains (TLDs).

This is one of the revolutions in the internet world. Since 2012, ICANN has announced approximately 1,930 applications for new domains. One of the registrars in Europe, europeandomaincentre.com, announced that around 617 new TLDs will be released by 2015.

The competition for some of the new domains will be fierce. Therefore, to increase your chances of securing the domain name you want, the pre-registration phase is crucial. For all pre-registration stages, GoDaddy will automatically submit your application to the international registry. This means you will be at the front of the line to claim your new domain.

However, pre-registration does not guarantee you will secure your desired domain, especially if you’re targeting very specific keywords like seo.services or hotel.vacations. If you don’t get it, GoDaddy will refund your registration fee. However, the fees for Prioritized Pre-registration and Trademark Owner applications are non-refundable.
