#DoxaUpdate – May 20, 2015 Edition

The Carousel format is now available for mobile app ads. In its blog, Facebook shared that this Carousel format is available for link ads in the Ads API, Power Editor, and Ads Create Tool. As for mobile app install ads, this format is only available through the Ads API.

Bing
Bing will soon roll out a new algorithm for mobile-friendly ranking. Unlike Google, Bing has not announced an official date for this update. Instead, they are taking a gradual approach to allow webmasters to better prepare before the launch.

Google has quietly launched an algorithm that targets large sites with how-to content, thin content, and clickbait-style titles. This change has caused some sites to lose more than 20% of their traffic overnight.
