The competition for some of the new domains will be fierce. Therefore, to increase your chances of securing the domain name you want, the pre-registration phase is crucial. For all pre-registration stages, GoDaddy will automatically submit your application to the international registry. This means you will be at the front of the line to claim your new domain.

However, pre-registration does not guarantee you will secure your desired domain, especially if you’re targeting very specific keywords like seo.services or hotel.vacations. If you don’t get it, GoDaddy will refund your registration fee. However, the fees for Prioritized Pre-registration and Trademark Owner applications are non-refundable.
